Welcome to the JSTF!

Hello,

The focus this term, as with every term in the JSTF, is to improve all of the children’s

confidence, their independence skills and to target the best ways they each learn both

academically as well as socially. They will learn new routines yet also be encouraged to

understand that changes sometimes occur; they will integrate with their mainstream peers as

and when this is appropriate and they will crucially improve their listening, thinking, play and

communication skills.

We will also be studying our new topic ‘The Enchanted Woodland’!

Many thanks,

Mr Hobbs

Welcome to year 6!

We’ve had an excellent first week in class and are already excited for the school year ahead. This week the pupils have been given the opportunity to choose their own topic to study and after a classroom debate, have chosen Japan!

The children are all excited to find out about Japan as a county, the Japanese people, the culture and lots more.

Keep an eye on our class page over the coming weeks for more exciting news, particularly our upcoming school trip to Sony.

Many Thanks,

Mr Curtin
